Ryan refuses to leave
Ryan Babbel refused to be pushed out of the LFC door on the final day of the transfer window. The club were willing to sell him to West Ham or Spurs but Ryan insisted he wanted to stay with the Reds. The Dutch Branch has always believed in Ryan and we hope he will finally get a fair chance as a striker. He is miles better than N'gog and deserves the chance to show it.

Utrecht tickets
We have no information from LFC about tickets for our Europa League game in Utrecht at the end of September. As soon as we hear about our allocation, we'll publish the information here. We only get European tickets by buying all 6 matches. This is an LFC rule, indeed Ajax do the same. There is no way around this. If you want the two Utrecht matches you have to buy all 6 games!

Ticket only for Liverpool home games
The Dutch Branch can now offer Ticket Only for all Liverpool home games before Christmas. The cost is €120 per ticket, which includes membership of the Dutch Branch and the LFC ALL RED scheme. Both are compulsory. The LFC ALL RED membership carries significant benefits, such as 10% discount in LFC club shops. To get tickets from us you must join the LFC ALL RED scheme through us, as joining yourself does not link you to the Dutch Branch. All home games are currently available. First come, first served.

What now for Glen Johnson?
If Dirk leaves for Inter, who will protect our hapless, €20 million defender, Glen Johnson? The answer may well be to play him wide right and bring in Martin Kelly at right back. Glen is great going forward and could benefit from the move upfield. Harry Redknapp has done it with Gareth Bale with fantastic results. Dirk leaving could be the making of Glen.

Will Dirk stay?
Dirk has a big decision to make. Rafa and Inter want him and Liverpool seem willing to listen to offers. If Roy Hodgson had said a firm NO to Inter, I'm sure Dirk would not leave. However when your club shows a willingness to trade, it's a different story. I'm amazed that Roy is willing to sell Dirk as he is exactly the kind of player the manager likes. If Dirk leaves, we at the Dutch Branch, will be truly sorry. He is the heartbeat of our club and I really hope he stays. If he goes, it's with our thanks and very best wishes.

City millionaires spank Reds
The gap between the rich clubs and the rest was highlighted last night as Man. City easily beat the Reds. We defended badly but with sub standard players like Lucas and Glen Johnson, it's hardly surprising. Danny Agger looked like he was still concussed and was slaughtered by the brilliant Adam Johnson. He cost only 7 million, why didn't we bid? Torres is way off fitness and it's utterly ridiculous that N'gog starts ahead of Ryan Babbel. It's time for Stevie to stop taking corners, Jovanavic or Aurelio have much better dead ball delivery. Our captain lurking on the edge of the box would make us a much more dangerous proposition. It should be noted that Stevie was our best player yet again last night. If only we had a few more with his heart!
